    What is a stroller?

Pram, Stroller, Buggy… Are they all the same? What is a stroller? A stroller can usually only carry a toddler who is already able to sit up unassisted. Little Lou strollers are suitable from birth as they recline into a lie-flat position. A stroller is generally basic and simple to use, has a more compact fold and fewer features than a pram. Our two strollers have some added luxuries of our prams along with some excellent features for your convenience. Here is a run-down of the MIDI and ITTIand its features and uses…

Our “MIDI” model stroller is designed for the average person. Its mid-sized, mid-priced, but NOT mid-quality. It fits perfectly in the middle of our “SLIK” and “ITTI”. This pram is to suit anyone and everyone, from parents to grandparents, to be used around the city or in the park.

It conveniently features a three positional adjustable handle to suit different users, a multi-positional backrest and adjustable footrest for support and comfort, meeting the needs of the babies growth at different stages from newborn to toddler, one-touch double brakes, shockproof front and rear wheels – the front being swivel with the ability to lock, removable front tray and a large storage basket. Your free accessory with the MIDI is a cup holder - a cup holder conveniently holds your bottle of water, must-have morning coffee or baby’s bottle. The MIDI comes in a classic black.

Our “ITTI” model stroller is designed for the travelers, whether you are traveling by car, bus, boat, train, or plane – on a day trip or a worldwide voyage, you will always have space for the “ITTI”.

It has a convenient one-handed compact fold along with its own handle to pull along behind you with the rest of your luggage. Most airlines allow you to check in your pram for FREE amongst other items/baggage when traveling with an infant. Some conveniently let you do this at the gate.

This pram features a free positional backrest, meaning it can be reclined to any level from lying to sitting, meeting the needs of babies growth at different stages from newborn to toddler, one-touch double brakes, shockproof front and rear wheels – the front being swivel with the ability to lock, a storage basket and full-sized canopy with simple zipper opening up the airflow mesh section. The ITTI’s free accessory is the cushioned pram liner – a pram liner is cushioned for your child’s comfort and can act as an easily removed barrier to catch any crumbs or spills.

The information provided above of Little Lou’s MIDI and ITTI  should hopefully give you an idea of some of the features that are important to you when purchasing a stroller.

Some of the advantages of having a stroller rather then a pram are – these particular strollers are suitable from birth as they have the ability to recline into a lie-flat position, they have a convenient one-hand compact fold, they still feature an extra-large hood as prams do (the ITTI featuring two air mesh panels to provide airflow, the MIDI  featuring an air mesh peek-a-boo flap), the MIDI  has an adjustable handlebar so the user can easily adjust accordingly, the front wheels are able to are swivel but able to lock into position if/when needed, strollers are lighter in weight, they still have a large storage basket underneath, the ITTI being the perfect travel stroller with its own convenient travel handle built-in. We also opted for larger wheels to provide a smoother push, allow excellent maneuverability, a more comfortable ride for baby, and of course because it looks much more stylish.

Strollers often come in handy as a second pram if you have two cars you can keep one in the second car. Another great use is for grandparents or aunts/uncles to keep one at their house to use when babysitting and they are much simpler to use and operate then prams. You may want to have a pram for everyday use but then a stroller for when you travel. Strollers are more affordable then prams so if you are on a budget they are perfect for you or if you can afford to have one as a second pram/stroller then it may make your life that much easier.
